SILVERLIT ex SILVERDOT II

En 1983, le petit remorqueur SILVERLIT de Londres a été converti en un yacht privé, avec le même nom, et conduit à des voies navigables de France. En 1993, il a été vendu à une société britannique Tugstar Ltd (qui avait un propriétaire suisse, Felix Aebi). SILVERLIT a été vu à St Jean de Losne en 2005. 12.1945: Completed by Richard Dunston Ltd., Thorne, Yorkshire for Silvertown Services Ltd., London as SILVERDOT II (ON 180800).
15.10.1953: Renamed SILVERLIT.
1957: Transferrred to Silvertown Services Lighterage Ltd, London
1971: Sold to M Tugs Ltd., London.
1982: Chartered to W.S. Crouch and Sons Ltd., Greenhithe.
7.1983: Sold to Mike Adams, Kingston-on-ThamesLondon for conversion to a pleasure craft. She was re-engined at Eel Pie Island with a Ford oil engine removed from a fire pump from the Gannex mackintosh factory in the East End of London. The new engine was fitted in the rear hold and the former engine room converted to a cabin space. She cruised extensively in coastal and river waters including trips up the Seine to Paris.
12.1993: Sold to Tugstar Ltd., St Ives, Huntingdonshire (Felix Aebi, Switzerland, manager).
